With quiet strength - Vera Schwelgin. Wolfgang Reinke. Emerita Pansowová
In our new exhibition "With quiet strength" we present artworks by Vera Schwelgin, Wolfgang Reinke and Emerita Pansowová, who have known each other for many decades. The pictures and sculptures of the three artists have a quiet yet haunting force.
The archaic figures in Vera Schwelgin's masterful woodcuts reflect states of mind and being with delicate sensitivity. Her pictures correspond with the sculptures by Emerita Pansowová, radiating calm and sensitivity. In the quietness and intensity of Wolfang Reinke's chalk drawings, the artist's emotional experience of looking at the Baltic Sea landscape is visible. His geometrically constructed spatial paintings, on the other hand, pull the viewer under their spell through their apparent reality.
